As our part of social responsibility we have a NGO named Saha Yatra Forum for Social Development.
Saha Yatra Forum for Social Development is a Non-Governmental Organisation shall function under and according to The Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific & Charitable Societies Registration Act of 1955(Act. XII of 1955).
Aims of the Society -
1. Promote/ encourage the long lasting and responsible tourism and give, the benefit to entire community.
2. Promote self- employment and entrepreneurship culture in Kerala, guide and lead a better life by providing them opportunities for self employment and training in varied trades.
3. Provide family counseling and rehabilitate domestic violence affected persons.
4. Educate/Curative/Preventive/Promotive, give help and assistance to implement any scheme for the welfare of the community in terms of health, water and sanitation programmes, project, including programmes on awareness of AIDs etc.
5. Work for the integrated implementation packages for productivity enhancement and employment generation and improving the qualities of social infrastructure like education and health facilities in rural areas of the state.
6. Work for the reformation and rehabilitation of inmates of correctional institutions.
7. Empower women through Vocational Training in various streams viz., Electronics, Tailoring, Electronic Embroidery, Painting and Fiber works, Beautician, Soft toys and communication skills.
8. Start , maintain, promote or sponsor training centers for human resource development, leadership skills and to provide training in skills and trades for employment purposes.
